The proof is that your upload speeds are fine on Ethernet to both your Asus and the BGW320. You are not going to see anything above the ~500 Mbps directly on the BGW320 or about ~400 Mbps on your Asus in a router behind router configuration for downloads with your software EST endpoint security. The average corporate laptop is not going to have the processing speed to overcome the impact of "software" based inbound security scanning. Your "software' endpoint security is what is cutting your download speeds in half unless you have a high end i9 Multi-core gaming laptop with a good quality Ethernet adapter and even with this the endpoint software is the gating factor in speed. It is just like using your SonicWall TZ350 x 2 instances. Oh boy that's what is slowing your downloads. We have a corporate ESET Endpoint Security that may be interfering, but it shouldn't be cutting the speed in half like that. There is a chance you might be right about my laptop. If you try your iPhone 12 Pro directly to your BGW320 with your Asus Wi-Fi turned off you should be able to get about ~720 Mbps average or higher on your iPhone 12 Pro. You might want to setup a separate SSID for 5 GHz and only connect your iPhone 12 Pro only to get the max speeds possible from your Asus. A connection speed of 866 Mbps and actual speeds are going to be right at a max of 440 Mbps. Your iPhone unless it is the only device on 5 GHz then that is going to be the average. ![]()
